A Night at a Hawaiian Luau

The night starts out by being treated as a special guest. We got to arrive later and had no wait in line since it is the perks of premium seating. The view is spectacular seeing the blue skies with it's billowing clouds seeing the distant islands. Oh we are so lucky!! Drinks are available as part of the luau. After being seated in the front of the luau we began looking and admiring the crafts of the Hawaiian culture. Seeing how detailed their craftsmanship from leis to statues of Tiki God's is something to see. We are ushered to get our Hawaiian buffet. The salads are exquisite so many parts of the Hawaiian cuisine. So much fresh fruit and the Kahlua pig so tender and moist. I love the island fish and teriyaki beef incredible!! So many side dishes everyone is happy and the desserts yummy!! After we are done eating we are entertained by Hawaiian musicians. Then we we are transported to a time from long ago. As the shaman tells the stories of Hawaii we see it expressed through the dances of hula. Seeing it in such a beautiful way, the precise movements of their hands and stepping to the story. Watching the acrobatics of the dancer as she moves up and down on ribbons hanging from a tree is mesmerizing. Finally the show gets pretty hot and exciting with the fire knife dancer as we watch in amazement. What a night that will be a memory in your mind forever.
